5 육신을 따라 사는 사람은 육신에 속한 것을 생각하나, 성령을 따라 사는 사람은 성령에 속한 것을 생각합니다.
6 육신에 속한 생각은 죽음입니다. 그러나 성령에 속한 생각은 생명과 평화입니다.
7 육신에 속한 생각은 하나님께 품는 적대감입니다. 그것은 하나님의 법을 따르지 않으며, 또 복종할 수도 없습니다.
8 육신에 매인 사람은 하나님을 기쁘시게 할 수 없습니다.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
